Privacy
RaceDash is invite-only, run by one admin for one team. This page says exactly what it holds and who can see it.
Who to ask
The admin who runs RaceDash for your team. Ask them for help, for a copy of your data, or to delete your account.
What is stored
- Your account: display name, password hash, FTP, max heart rate, weight. No email address is collected.
- Your sign-in sessions.
- Each ride file you upload, which is a GPS trace of where you rode and when.
- Your race entries, setups, course conditions, debriefs, notes and kit list.
- If you connect Strava, one encrypted connection key.
Who can see it
Your rides are private until you share one. A shared ride is visible to every RaceDash rider, not to chosen people.
What leaves RaceDash
Race venues' coordinates go to the weather services that draw the forecast. Map tiles for the area you are viewing are fetched by your own browser from the map hosts. With Strava connected, RaceDash asks Strava for your own recent-ride list when you tap From Strava. It shows the list to you and keeps none of it.
Strava
Connecting Strava lets RaceDash show you a list of your recent Strava rides.
What it reads: the titles, dates and distances of your recent rides, and whether each is private. It shows them to you once and keeps none of it.
What it stores: an encrypted connection key. Nothing else from Strava. The ride file is downloaded by you from Strava's website and uploaded here like any other file.
To stop: tap Disconnect in Settings, or remove RaceDash under Settings › My Apps on Strava.
To delete your data: ask the admin, who will delete your account and tell you when it is done.
Strava accounts are for riders 13 and over. If you are under 18, connect only with a parent's permission.
A Strava connection unused for 90 days is deleted automatically. Reconnecting takes one tap. Backups hold the encrypted key, never the key that unlocks it.
Backups
Taken nightly and kept for 14 days, copied off the server by the admin.

Deletion
Ask the admin. They delete your account, your rides, your files and your Strava connection, then tell you in writing when it is done. Backups roll out within 14 days.
How long rides are kept
Until you delete them or ask the admin to. There is a plan to delete rides after the season plus one year, but that is not automatic yet.
